My name is Zelda Verrett, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), license number (111462) with a Master's in Counseling Psychology. I am based in Southern California working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults 18 and older struggling with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, PTSD, women's issues, and grief counseling using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to offer clients tools to build stronger relationships, communicate effectively, and understand their emotions better.
I typically work with adult individuals 18 years and older. I am most comfortable working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, women's issues, stress, and adults with childhood trauma.
I understand that every family is different, every child is unique, and every individual’s journey is distinct. The client and I will set clear Smart Goals together. Each session is unique and used to evaluate progress, address specific concerns, and promote healthier relationships and a happier self.
