About
The decision to begin therapy is not simple and often comes at a particularly challenging time in your life. I know how difficult it can be to reach out during these times and my goal is to respond with curiosity, open-mindedness, and empathy. I believe that lasting change can come from exploring and ultimately freeing ourselves from the underlying causes of current symptoms. I want to work together with you to find ways to gain insight and relief. I work in an open and transparent manner, to help answer any questions or concerns you have along the way.
I work holistically by looking at the larger context of your life so we can connect your past and your present. I have found it is valuable to explore how experiences of race, gender, sexuality, and other identities impact us. I also work well with people who are new to therapy or are feeling ambivalent.
I work to create an affirming place for LGBTQ, kinky, and poly folks. I am passionate about working with people who want to explore their cultural identity and how it has impacted them. If you are hoping to work with a mixed-race or BIPOC clinician, I would be a good fit.
