I will offer each new client a free initial consultation. My philosophy from working as a psychologist for over 25 years is that the relationship and trust between a client and therapist is an extremely important part of the healing process. You will find that I am a very good listener. My clients describe me as warm, compassionate, clear, caring, experienced and they have found our work together extremely helpful in their lives. I work Saturdays and Thursday (later afternoon and evening).
My style of therapy involves an interactive approach, questioning in a caring way, humor when possible, and feedback that is kind and direct. I have been trained in traditional psychodynamic therapy as well as cognitive-behavioral approach. I am equally comfortable with short or long- term therapy.
Together we will help you to work through the issues that have become problematic in your life and to make healthier choices for yourself. I offer individual psychotherapy services for adults. My practice is primarily self-pay and this will protect your confidentiality. Please contact me and we can discuss fees.
