Healing and change takes time... a marathon versus a race. Whether you're seeking services for yourself or your child, I admire & applaud you for taking the 2nd step where the 1st was recognizing that you need help or support. I'm accepting clients aged 8+ for in person sessions. Whether an adult or child, I meet clients where they are. I will be the that empathetic & compassionate coach, guide, or hype man by take the time to get to know each client in efforts to promote utilization of their strengths & personal interests to assist in achieving the desired goal(s) and gaining the knowledge and skills needed to live their BEST life.
Talking to a stranger can be nervous. Trust me, I get it. My objective is to provide a judgement free space for clients to be themselves as I join them on their journey. No one knows a client better themselves! Open-mindlessness and the willingness to do the work are components to successful outcomes. I aim to aid & promote self determination & development.
As a black, gay male, former foster youth, & current foster parent, I truly possess first hand experience of trauma, anger, family conflict, adjustment issues, loss/grief, anxiety, & ADHD.
