I am a social worker that does community activism. Many times people have problems because of the injustices built into our system. In my work in therapy I can help people to identify issues in their lives and give them skills to deal with situations they find themselves in. I want to remove stigma from mental health treatment by offering it to everyone. I am committed to treating people with every day issues that may negatively impact their lives so that they can move forward to have happy and successful lives. I want to listen to people and help them develop the skills they need.
As an advocate and a generalist social worker I am trained to work with people who have addiction issues, trauma, depression, anxiety and other disorders. I have been trained in DBT, CBT, and other therapy’s that afford me the ability to work with just about everybody. The people I see come with a variety of issues that prevent them from fully enjoying life.
If you are struggling with any sort of emotions that may feel overwhelming or you just want to talk please reach out to me. We can schedule an introductory session to see if we are a good fit for each other. This may take a few sessions to determine but the first step is reaching out. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
