Welcome and congratulations on taking a step towards finding a therapist that’s right for you. If you’re an individual learning to find your voice in your family, marriage, or workplace; if you’re in a partnership that somehow lost its feeling of connection and synergy; if you’re struggling to get your family through a difficult time or just want to be on the same page again – I’m here to help. My name is Zahra Somani and as a bicultural, bilingual (English, Urdu) therapist I am deeply familiar with the joys and struggles that come with navigating different worldviews all while balancing priorities, boundaries, and self-care.
I specialize in helping my clients identify emotions so they can become “unstuck,” work on communication issues, address sexual intimacy, battle anxiety, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves. My therapeutic approach is based in attachment theory – I believe we are all built to connect deeply, and that deep connection happens on an emotional level.
If you’re ready to tackle tough questions in a safe, gentle environment you’ve come to the right place. Embarking on this path can be incredibly fulfilling but it asks much from those who walk it. Schedule a free consultation to see if we are fit to take this journey together. Wherever you land, with whomever you choose to support you, I’m glad you’re here.
