Hello, my name is Zafia pronounced (Za-fee-ya) and I am here to assist you along your healing journey. I am trained in mental health counseling and I am here to offer you assistance towards reaching your mental health goals by providing a safe space that is free from judgment. I believe that everyone’s story is unique, and I tailor my counseling to fit each person as necessary whether that is disputing irrational thoughts and beliefs, forming healthier relationships, or altering automatic thoughts.
My clinical experience includes working with adults, adolescents, and children from diverse backgrounds. My theoretical approach includes the use of CBT, REBT, RCT, and Person-Centered theory. My integrative approach is based on evidence-based practices, cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.
