Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW, PsyA
As you go through the process of finding a highly trained therapist, there are likely three important questions that you may hope to be answered: 1) Will I (or my child) be able to feel comfortable talking with this therapist? 2) Will this therapist be able to truly understand the nature of my concerns? 3) Will I be able to start feeling better and make positive changes in therapy? While it may seem difficult to get answers to these questions while scrolling through the snapshot of a therapist’s profile, I am mindful of incorporating these foundational elements into my therapeutic approach with both adults and adolescents.
Throughout the process, I am committed to helping you receive relief from feelings of anxiety, depression, shame, anger or other emotions that may be getting in your way. This highly personal journey of engaging in therapy can be an opportunity to resolve issues, gain insight, feel empowered, achieve greater clarity, and simplify some of life's complexities.
In keeping with your comfort level and readiness, we will work together in an accepting atmosphere in which any areas of struggle can be expressed and handled. It is my hope and belief that your involvement in therapy will provide an emotionally enriching experience that will allow for new parts of yourself to emerge without losing your current self.
