In my work with clients I prefer to maintain a holistic focus on the individual. No matter what you are struggling with I find it hard to imagine that there is only one way of looking at it to understand the problem. My goal in therapy is to have my clients walk away from session with new insights and goals that allow them to orient towards creating change. Knowing what it is that you want out of life can be incredibly powerful, and therapy can be a great opportunity for growth.
My background consists of working with adult individuals, couples, and teens addressing a wide variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, addiction, relational problems, trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, and life transitions. I utilize skills and techniques from both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Existential Therapy.
Therapy can be a place where individuals feel safe to explore their inner world in the context of the therapeutic relationship. I strive to help foster this relationship with anyone I see by taking on a collaborative role.
