You are not alone – Healing begins here.
YWCA has been serving Sonoma County since 1976, providing services for individuals and families affected by trauma, violence, and abuse. We work with children, teens, adults, and families of all genders. YWCA also offers specialized therapy services for individuals impacted by domestic violence, including survivors, child witnesses, those currently in abusive relationships, and individuals struggling with the aftermath of trauma. Survivors receive trauma-informed care, safety planning, and recovery support.
Services are offered in English and Spanish.
Our therapists specialize in trauma-focused therapies tailored to your needs. We use an integrative approach using a variety of models, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, play therapy, and more. We incorporate art, sand tray, somatic practices, and mindfulness.
We understand the vulnerability that is required to seek therapy, and we commend you for taking that first step. If you’re living with the effects of violence or trauma, we are here to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where survivors can begin to reclaim their sense of self, safety, and strength.
