Hola! My name is Yvonne Mendoza and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based out of Southern California. Currently offering bilingual (Spanish) therapy services to clients in California via Telehealth. I enjoy working with teens and young adults navigating through life challenges resulting in anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, and emotional wounds. My work consists of an integrative approach tailored to each client's specific needs. I've seen great benefits of incorporating a Trauma-Informed Approach in combination with Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy in overcoming unresolved trauma and emotional wounds.
I also strongly believe in the connection between mental and physical health, therefore incorporating a holistic approach including healthy eating habits, physical activity, sleep hygiene, faith/spirituality, and improving social connections is of utmost importance in my practice.
