Welcome! My name is Yvette Okeke, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have extensive therapy experience with various populations and provide support to people battling depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma as well as interpersonal conflict. If you are uncertain about the exact nature of your emotional/mental health struggles, I will use motivational interviewing to help you identify it and find meaningful resolution.
My specialty is women's reproductive mental health for issues like infertility, miscarriage, post partum depression or anxiety. I bring a holistic approach to therapy with a focus on spirituality and mindfulness. It can be very hard to find time for self care to improve wellbeing but I offer practical ideas and in session practice to get you started.
My approach is to start off building rapport to know your story and what strengths have kept you going so far. Therapy can be intimidating but is so rewarding when trust is established. I want you to trust me and leave every session feeling intact and better equipped to face life’s challenges. This I achieve, by going at the pace most comfortable for you.
