I specialize in supporting university, grad, post-grad, and perinatal adults through life transitions, relationship issues, and issues of self esteem and identity. The foundation of my approach is honoring the client’s holistic experience, and the belief that therapeutic relationships built with trust, empathy, authenticity, and care can positively affect change and growth in a person’s life. Clients I see are often working through life transitions and direction, academic or job stressors, self-esteem, trauma, grief and loss, identity, spirituality, mind-body and medical related stress, and relationship issues.
With compassion and humor, I strive for a collaborative relationship in which I provide a non judgmental space for each client to explore and process experiences. I utilize a psychodynamic, client-centered, grief & trauma informed approach, and often incorporate tools such as mindfulness, expressive approaches, and mind-body approaches to empower clients.
