My name is Yvette Bonilla, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I contract part time with Becoming You, Center for Transformation. I work with adults who struggle with troubling memories from their past, overwhelming life situations, intense emotions, or feeling like they don't know who they are beyond their pain. Sometimes, when living like this, people may think ending their own lives is the only solution. I can help you surpass the pain of your memories, feel whole rather than empty, and move past feeling like you're burdening others by being alive.
I help people develop a "toolkit" of resources to cope with today's burdens. I help identify old patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that get in the way of growth and healing. I may also explore how you relate to others, so that dealing with people isn't so overwhelming.
