About
Being a therapist gives me the opportunity to come alongside individuals during difficult times in their lives, as well as to celebrate their joys. It is truly a privilege to be present with people as they navigate their journey. I work with people of all ages: children, adolescents, and adults. My areas of clinical focus include working with individuals who have experienced trauma/PTSD, anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, depression, attachment/relational difficulties, sexual behavior problems, compulsive sexual behavior, social skills deficits, and parenting challenges.
I draw from a variety of modalities to fit the needs of individuals including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I collaborate with individuals to foster self-awareness and self-regulation in an integrative and somatic (body-centered) way.
I have received specialized training in the use of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is a form of psychotherapy that utilizes eye movements to address symptoms of trauma. I value expressive modalities and received training to become a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Additionally, I provide pre-marital counseling (PREPARE/ENRICH certified).
