My name is YJ Carson, LCSW. My passion is supporting adults 18+ who are at any point in their journey toward wellness, fulfillment, discovery, and self-love. I use therapies like EMDR, CBT, and DBT that strengthen your internal resources, to help you achieve your personal growth goals. I try to keep a casual, nonjudgmental, positive, and open space. When you leave sessions, my hope is that you will feel seen, heard, understood, and challenged in helpful ways.
My favorite part about being a therapist is getting to watch people experience healing, growth, and transformation in ways that propel them into living their best lives. Nothing is more satisfying than to see you succeed and to get to be a part of that.
Initially, I take the first three sessions to collaborate with you in information gathering and assessment so that we can create a treatment plan together that is as individualized to you as possible. We will periodically review your progress toward your personal goals on a regular schedule and make additions and modifications as needed.
