Hi, I’m Yuliya Viner, an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) licensed in Ohio. I began my career in Russia as a children’s psychologist before moving to the United States in 2000. Since 2004, I have worked in behavioral health providing therapy to adults, older adults, teens, families, and couples. I help clients navigate concerns such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, grief, and relationship challenges, and I strive to create a supportive space where people feel understood and respected.
My approach is primarily person centered. I focus on understanding your perspective and meeting you with empathy and respect. I draw from evidence based approaches including Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and Motivational Interviewing.
My goal is to help you access your own strengths and develop tools for lasting change. Together we will explore challenges, strengthen coping skills, and work toward improving relationships, mood, and self esteem. I believe therapy is a powerful opportunity for growth and I feel honored to support clients on that journey.
