My name is Yufei Chen. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Millbrae, California. I use a client-centered and relational approach to support adolescent and adult clients through life transitions, identity exploration, existential dread, relationship issues, and other stressful situations. Issues I have experience serving include perfectionism, burnout, immigration stress, perinatal issues and parenting struggles, anxiety, and depression.
My formal training in counseling has been psychodynamically and relationally oriented. With each client, I focus on building a strong therapeutic bond and adjust my approach based on the client’s specific needs.
