I'm Yousef, a therapist based in DC serving clients across Maryland and Washington, DC. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as a Foreign Affairs Officer in the federal government and in international education, living and working in Cairo, Beirut, Damascus, and beyond. I know firsthand how burnout builds slowly until something finally breaks. That experience brought me to therapy, and ultimately to this work.
I specialize in trauma, ADHD, and men's mental health, alongside anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. For men: reaching out is the hardest part. I offer a space where you don't have to perform strength, just show up honestly. I also offer psychedelic harm reduction and integration work.
My approach blends IFS, Somatic Experiencing, CBT, and for couples Gottman and EFT. I work with individuals and partners of all identities and relationship structures. All are welcome.
