Hi there! My name is Dr. Sabine Volkmann, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. My experience includes working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief and loss, substance use issues, trauma and PTSD. The treatment modalities that I often employ in therapy sessions include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution focused therapy and reality therapy. My goal is to find an approach that works best for you and feels personalized for your needs and reach your goals.
As a therapist, I utilize techniques and skills from each of these modalities to assist clients in their counseling journey. I understand that there is no “one-size fits all." My professional experience includes inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities, substance abuse treatment centers, private practice, and tele-therapy.
