In over 25 years of counseling I have helped all types of clients, with all types of mental health and/or drug and alcohol problems. I have over the years due to the need specialized in treating depression, trauma, and in drug and alcohol treatment. I love working with children and adults, and I am very creative, so I enjoy using play and art in therapy. I am board certified in neurofeedback, and I also provide biofeedback. I incorporate it into treatment when appropriate. I am also trained to do EMDR for treating trauma.
Learning about and providing neurofeedback has been, and is, amazing. It is very complex yet simple at the same time how the brain works. Biofeedback is being used and researched to treat many conditions, some with great long term success. It is also used for optimum performance training.
I enjoy counseling, it is a privilege, and I am thankful and humbled daily at the honor.
