Struggling to stay positive or feeling especially anxious and irritable can have a profound impact on the quality of your life. Together we explore and practice constructive ways of coping with challenging emotions. My goal is to create a safe space that allows clients to identify with themselves and reach potential through modifying thoughts and behaviors. Also, I have a heart in multicultural work, which includes helping people adjusting to generational differences.
I have experience in the assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma and stress-related disorders, and adjustment disorders. My approach is client-centered and eclectic, and I find it exceptionally effective incorporating evidence-based modalities such as Art Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I understand that reaching out for support may be overwhelming at times. I strive to create a comfortable, nonjudgemental and validating environment. I value the therapeutic relationship and work to maintain strong connection with my clients.
