I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with licensure in both North Carolina and New York. Having served in the Child Welfare/Family Reunification system for over 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work toward ensuring child safety and aiding families in crisis. What I find most rewarding is seeing the progress my clients make in preserving and improving their mental health. My goal continues to be helping remove the stigma around mental health care.
I obtained my undergraduate degree from Saint Augustine University and my Master’s degree from Adelphi University in New York. I utilize a variety of treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, structural therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
We all face challenges that can leave us feeling isolated and in despair, but it’s important to remember that you’re not alone. As a professional clinician, I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and positive environment that places you at the center of your care.
