Together, I work with folks to identify and address interpersonal and structural-based trauma and incorporate somatic techniques to help explore the connection between stress, trauma, and your body. Our work will help deepen your understanding of the different parts of yourself to ultimately get to a place where you can choose how you want to engage in the relationships in your life, without guilt, shame, or judgement.
As a psychotherapist, I work with individuals and couples using holistic, psychodynamic, and anti-oppressive approaches to healing. In addition to working with people dealing with anxiety, depression, and grief, I have extensive experience with racial identity and trauma, including sexual abuse.
I see therapy as an act of love, community, and resistance to the status quo. I welcome folks of all racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds and am LGBTQIA+ affirming and disability inclusive. In addition to my therapy practice, I supervise clinicians and provide supportive services to staff in social justice organizations dealing with COVID-19.
