I work with children and teens struggling to feel confident, understood, or successful. Sometimes that looks like anxiety, low self-esteem, difficulty managing emotions, or conflict. Other times, children are working hard to keep up in school while navigating ADHD, learning differences or executive functioning challenges. Whatever brings a child to therapy, I want them to feel that they have a place where they can be fully themselves.
My goal is to meet them where they are, help them recognize their strengths, and give them tools to feel more capable when challenges a approach is creative, and relationship-focused.
I use play, narrative therapy and art to help children express themselves and develop new ways of understanding their strengths and challenges. I also bring many years of experience working in schools and understand the challenges children and families may encounter in the classroom and beyond. I enjoy working collaboratively with parents and schools.
As a parent, it can be difficult to watch your child struggle or to know how best to support them. You may be seeing a child who is anxious, discouraged, overwhelmed, or having a hard time navigating relationships and school. I work on a team at Intuition Wellness Center.
