I am a certified Yoga Therapist and mental health/trauma clinician with over 30 years experience treating adults, and adolescents. I believe in the mind/body connection as well as 'talk therapy,' to address the whole person, offering simple tools to increase coping skills so you can regulate emotions and become aware of triggers. I specialize in helping you with trauma recovery, anxiety, chronic stress and depression. In my practice, you will be able to talk about your challenges to gain insight and perspective as well as learn yoga therapy tools specifically designed for you.
YogaSpeak is my unique model that addresses the emotional and behavioral challenges of the whole person. I can help you identify patterns that don't serve you, and replace them with practical strategies and yogic tools to empower you to manage your emotions as they affect you in your daily life and change old habits with new techniques for optimal health.
I design my sessions individually for you. After an intake, we will set goals together and lay out a plan based on your immediate needs for optimal functioning every day and strategies to practice to empower your forward movement.
