Groups
Helping The Helpers
During these challenging times, I am offering group therapy to community workers and those who are working with populations impacted by ICE in our communities. This includes psych/social workers, clergy, community advocates, nurses, doctors, police, and community organizers. Witnessing and other forms of advocacy take a toll and it's important to address the trauma experienced from the work as well as having a safe places to process. This helps in the prevention of burn out and it connects members to the healing power of community. The group is offered in English or Spanish and is via Telehealth.
