My name is Yeshara (yeh-SHAH-ruh) Acosta, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, but most importantly, a fellow human being. People deserve to be free, and I am proud to be a part of that process for others as others have been for me. I believe in being firm yet kind in doing the work of deconstructing and rebuilding ourselves. DBT, ACT, and Person-Centered are some of the avenues in which I approach the healing process. I use methods that meet the needs of the individual client while challenging them to go further so they can live better.
Clients mostly seek me out for my guidance for challenges in relationships (family, romantic, etc.), identity, spirituality, LGBTQ+ issues, Trauma (all types), Emotional Dysregulation, Co-dependency, Boundaries, anxiety, depression, and self-exploration.
