I own Yellow City Playroom: Therapy for kids. I believe that every child is capable of healing. Therapy should be a partnership between therapist and client, and together, we will find a therapeutic method that works well for your family. My primary areas of focus include working with children and families to address needs related to behavioral struggles, depression, anxiety, and relationship disruptions. I believe that play is the universal language of children, and that through play therapy experiences, children are able to make sense of their world and heal.
I am a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). I have a great deal of experience working with children, adolescents and parenting struggles. I also have experience with children who have experienced significant trauma. I am trained in EMDR. I am a certified AutPlay Therapist for children with Autism.
I have received training with various treatment modalities including Theraplay® level 1, Trust-Based Relational Intervention® intro level, and Child Centered Play Therapy. I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy with teenagers.
