I currently serve clients from ages 10-100, with my primary focus being adolescents and adults. I am a mental health counselor as well as a licensed clinical addiction specialist, meaning I love working with both mental health disorders and addictions. When working with mental health, I serve those struggling with anxiety/depression, trauma/sexual abuse, bipolar I or II disorder, dissociative-identity disorder, grief, self-esteem concerns, identity matters, religious or spiritual factors, stress management, and those on the autism spectrum. My goals for my clients are to be able to increase their sense of self-worth and autonomy.
My first priority is to ensure you feel safe, comfortable, and accepted. I primarily work from a person-centered approach, meaning that I enforce unconditional positive regard, congruency, and lack of judgment. Let's talk, be challenged, have fun, and grow! I will be by your side to help you at your pace, challenge you when needed, and help you thrive.
It is extremely brave, courageous, and admirable for one to seek help and recognize the need for healing. I believe that each client is unique and can learn how to find oneself and continuously learn more about themselves.
