My ideal client is someone who understands that change is an inevitable part of the life cycle and is willing to work towards accepting that process. I work with a variety of mental health issues in children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
I tend to employ an integrated approach to therapy, which has foundations in Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I am a LPC with personal experience with the Military (I am a veteran) and with the school system (former school counselor). I am well-versed in Marriage and Family Therapy and strongly believe that the system (family/job/friends/etc.) is a key component in working with an individual.
