I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in Southern California. I’ve been doing therapy since 2016 working mainly with children and adolescents. Helping them reach their dreams, goals, and full potential by helping remove mental health obstacles. My theoretical approach varies based on the needs of my clients, however, among my main approaches are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. My communication style is calm, compassionate, and understanding. I want my clients to feel heard, comfortable, and without judgment.
Throughout my therapy career, I’ve worked mainly with children, adolescents, and young adults. I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for clients who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and abandonment issues. I work to help my clients build skills that help them navigate adversity in the healthiest way possible.
I wanted to become a therapist because I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live a life free of mental health problems that interfere with a person achieving their goals and dreams. Our first session together will consist in building a connection, understanding how you have been feeling, why, and deciding how we should move forward.
