About
Hello- I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY. I specialize in working with individuals in developing positive set of skills through introspection, growth, and healing. I have extensive experiences working with a diverse population: young students/professionals, adults, people of color, blended families, and children. I practice an integrated approach with a combination of a strength-based, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). My therapeutic outlook focuses on ensuring to approach the therapeutic relationship in an empathetic and non-judgmental way, to ensure clients are comfortable, empowered to understand and accept their strengths.
From sessions, I hope clients gain more awareness, a deeper understanding of their goals and accomplishments, and a better sense of control of themselves and their lives. I believe that by allowing yourself to develop healthier boundaries, you can start developing healthier sense of self, which will lead to healthier relationships.
