My name is Yaneli Sedghi. I am a Latinx Spanish-speaking therapist who uses a holistic approach when conducting therapy. Some of my specialties include depression, anxiety, multicultural issues, immigration issues, parenting issues, and life and work stressors. I have worked with a variety of demographics during my time as a therapist though my most typical clients are adolescents, young adults, and families. My approach to therapy always starts with the humanistic theory. I like to establish an empathetic and nonjudgmental environment that is conducive to growth for my clients.
From there, I assess what might be most beneficial for the client, realizing that not one approach fits all. After collaborating with the client on what might work best for them, I will utilize other approaches such as CBT, solution-focused, or family systems.
I would describe my communication style as clear and warm. I strive to provide my clients with an empathic environment in which they are the experts in their life, and I am an expert and helping them achieve their therapeutic goals and overcome challenges.
