About
If you are looking for a therapist who will SEE and HEAR you, you’ve come to the right place. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community, specifically gender identity, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, codependency, people-pleasing tendencies, intergenerational trauma, intimate partner violence, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. My approach is strength-based, client-focused, and trauma-informed. I love to challenge my clients to reframe negative thinking patterns to eventually be able to challenge those distortions themselves. My goal is to help you build your coping skills to manage independently because YOU ARE capable!
As a non-binary, queer, Latine therapist, I understand the impact of intersectional identities on our mental health. Our identities come with unique and higher levels of direct and indirect trauma that are multifaceted and require a trauma-informed approach. I truly believe in the importance of meeting you where you are as the expert of your own experience.
If you feel safe or a sense a relief reading this, let’s schedule a 15-minute consult to see if we are the right fit for each other. Remember, you do not have to be suicidal or past the point of managing life to seek therapy. If you are ready to do the healing and growth work, let’s talk! Please let me know your goals for therapy in your inquiry!
