However, there are times, or seasons, in our lives where problems are compounded for various reasons. We may feel overwhelmed and emotionally depleted which affect our quality of life and ability to function. We know that we, or our family, need help from a trained professional. If you are feeling this way, Brighter Days are here! My name is Yanada G. Essex. In 2002, I started a holistic counseling service called Brighter Days, Inc. to bring "brighter days" to you and your family.
God created human beings in a marvelous manner (Psalm 139:14). We are created with the following components: mind, body and spirit. These parts work interchangeably with each other to make the total person. Consequently, to achieve healing in one's life each area much be addressed.
Brighter Days, Inc. seeks to restore the total person with the following approaches: conducting a thorough assessment of the mind, body and spirit; providing appropriate and effective clinical interventions; promoting physical health by advocating for a healthy lifestyle and embracing spirituality by using Christian principles and models, when appropriate.
