Hello I'm Yamila Lezcano and as a Mental Health Practitioner my main goal is to support my clients in overcoming mental health challenges, and build resilience. I hold a doctoral degree in Human Services with a specialization in Children and Families at Risk. I'm also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Clinical Supervisor. with 10 years of experience in Infant Mental Health and Early Childhood Developmental Disorders.
I tailor my interventions based on careful assessment of my clients or family's need and unique characteristics for more effective results. My main therapeutic orientation is Humanistic, Cognitive-Behavioral and Solution Focused; although, I tailored the therapeutic process to fit each individual from an eclectic and holistic approach.
