I am an art therapist and counselor experienced in working with clients with a range of stressors. I can assist you with understanding, organizing, and making sense of your thoughts and emotions via exploration of your triggers, warning signs, and problem-solving skills. I also aim to promote empowerment and growth by providing you with a new skill/goal to focus on in between sessions. I focus on present day-to-day challenges to help enhance your well-being and provide balance to your life. I also aim to assist you in learning more about your internal and external abilities.
I utilize a solution-focused approach within my scope of work. I also incorporate other therapeutic modalities such as Adlerian Therapy and CBT. I work with adults presenting with a wide variety of mental health stressors such as: depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, parenting, life transitions, grief, communication, self-esteem, and anger.
I will provide you with a safe space to promote comfort and trust while also building a nurturing therapeutic relationship.
