I know how daunting it can feel to search for the right therapist for you. My approach with clients is warm, direct, empathetic and doused with humor. I love approaching all sessions from a strengths based perspective, intermingled with different modalities. My go to are trauma informed modalities, coupled with a behavioral approach. I like to dive deep into what makes you you, to understand yourself fully, and gain clarity as to what contributes to where you find yourself today.
My areas of expertise reside in treating issues around sexual health/dysfunction, issues surrounding family of origin/childhood, and trauma. Additionally, anxiety, depression and grief are co-morbid with trauma. I prefer to cater the modality to meet the client's needs. However, I always approach treatment from a trauma informed lens.
