In January 2022 Y.F.S.W. Counseling LLC was created to empower Black women through therapy by addressing the unique mental health challenges they face, particularly in the areas of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. We focus on the intersections of love, family, health, faith, and other crucial aspects of life. Our ideal client may feel validated, acknowledged or recognized by the statement above. Our ideal client may feel that they need support but maybe anxious to get the help they need because of the history of Black women's relationship to healthcare in the US. We at YFSW Counseling see you!

By fostering a safe and supportive environment, we help clients navigate the complexities of their personal experiences while promoting healing, mindfulness, and stress management.

We offer both in-person and online therapy to accommodate unique barriers, with the goal of easing the anxiety of starting therapy. A friendly voice on the other end is here to support you every step of the way.
