About
I believe that trusting relationships, community, and creativity are at the heart of inner peace. I offer you a compassionate, empathetic, playful, and non-judgmental space. Trauma influences life, body, and the brain in complex ways and therefore sometimes in therapy we need to talk, and sometimes we need to pause, move, or create. I am informed by attachment theory, and psychodynamic approaches, and embrace the relational element to healing. As a musician, and with music therapy training, I understand the regulatory power of art and invite you to integrate creative arts such as songwriting.
I work with individuals, and relationships. As a queer and creative therapist, I am is passionate about nurturing an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ youth and adults, artists, CNM, and kink/BDSM involved clients where you can experience therapy as a safe space to continue exploring identity, sex, imagination, relationships, and everyday life.
I strive to approach therapeutic work through an anti-oppressive lens that is harm reductive, client centered, present moment, and social justice oriented. Recognizing the way trauma affects the nervous system, we can work together to be mindful of somatic and body centered approaches. I hope that therapy can be a moment to relate, regulate, and create.
