Every journey toward healing is unique and the decision to seek counseling can be difficult. Healing starts with a choice and is an ongoing process. When we create a deeper, meaningful relationship with ourselves, we can better understand and gain awareness around our actions, thoughts, and behaviors. I am passionate about the work I do and understand the importance of providing a safe space, where you can be heard. We will work together to help you develop a new awareness allowing for change. We will identify existing strengths, assess presenting concerns, and explore new coping methods to replace maladaptive patterns.
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and as a therapist, I use an eclectic approach tailored to individual's needs. I apply treatment modalities that assist clients through childhood and adult trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, poor sense of self, adjustment and loss using strength based and evidence based practices.
Emotional distress and anxiety is common during a crisis such as COVID. Making the decision to seek counseling is a source of strength and together we will work to improve your coping skills and increase your empowerment. I enter the therapeutic relationship authentic and I will walk alongside you in the process.
