My primary approach to therapy is using evidenced based therapy such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. CBT focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions, improving emotional regulation, and developing coping skills that targets problems. DBT skills focus on distress tolerance, acceptance and mindful awareness.
