You may look “fine” on the outside, but inside your nervous system feels like it is always on duty. You might be carrying trauma from sexual abuse, feeling anxious, numb, on edge, or stuck in patterns you cannot explain. Maybe sleep is light, your patience is thin, and your mind will not shut off. You may be navigating pregnancy, postpartum, or grief after loss, or trying to support a partner while you are falling apart too. You want relief, steadiness, and practical tools, plus a safe place to rebuild boundaries, self-trust, and a life that feels like yours again.

You’re driven, capable, and used to figuring things out. But lately, even your usual strategies aren’t cutting it. You’re feeling stuck in patterns—overthinking, overworking, overgiving—and despite your accomplishments, something still feels off. Maybe your relationships feel unbalanced, or you’re tired of holding everything together without space to actually feel your feelings. Therapy isn’t about weakness—it’s about strength. It takes courage to pause, reflect, and intentionally shift long-standing patterns. It’s not just about coping—it’s about evolving.

For children and parents, this includes a developmentally informed approach and creative outlets, like art, music, and play.
Anxiety has a way of quietly running the show. Your mind stays busy, replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, and worrying about getting things wrong. Small moments- a change in routine, a tone of voice, a hard day - can trigger overwhelm, self-doubt, or a drop in confidence. You may notice this pattern in yourself, in your child, or both. You try to stay calm and do the "right" thing, yet still feel unsure of what's normal, what's developmental, and how to respond in ways that actually help. Communication often feels tense, reactive, or second-guessed. It's exhausting to carry this much and still try to stay steady.

Professionals, caregivers, and high-functioning individuals are often the people others rely on, yet many feel overwhelmed inside. They come to therapy for stress, anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, trauma, grief, or life transitions. Many are tired of carrying everything alone. I provide a compassionate, practical, and nonjudgmental space to build coping skills, improve relationships, heal emotional wounds, and create healthier patterns. Together, we work toward clarity, balance, and lasting growth.

Through developmentally appropriate play therapy and parent collaboration, I help children build emotional regulation skills while helping caregivers better understand their child’s needs and respond with confidence.
You may be used to being the one everyone relies on — the one who keeps things running, takes care of others, and pushes through even when you're exhausted. On the outside, you may look like you're managing it all, but internally you might feel overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or like you've lost parts of yourself along the way. Many of the women I work with are navigating the mental load of motherhood, relationship stress, anxiety, burnout, or major life transitions. They often tell me they want to feel calmer, more present, and more like themselves again — not just surviving each day, but actually feeling grounded in it.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working with clients in their early 20s to late 50s. Clients often come to their first session feeling stuck and uncertain about how to attain the life they want. Relationships and career stressors contribute to anxiety, leaving them confused about how to move forward. In therapy, I work with clients to value themselves, tune into their desires and dreams, and move in that direction. The first step toward change is often learning to treat ourselves with the same love and care we would show to a valued friend.

I offer workshops on relationships, parenting, communication, and mindful living/working.
Do you feel unsettled, out of balance, or like you don't have a voice? Are you at a crossroads in your life and not sure which path to take? In the safety of my office, I help clients find their balance, gain insight, make intentional changes, heal and grow - as individuals and in relationships. I have found that empowering clients with practical strategies to incorporate into their daily living while supporting clients in doing the deeper work of increasing their understanding of themselves and their partners (for clients in couples counseling), ultimately leads to the most meaningful changes.

You may be high-functioning on the outside but feel exhausted, anxious, or disconnected on the inside. You’re tired of living in survival mode and want to feel more at home in your body, your relationships, and your life. I work especially well with clients who understand their trauma intellectually but still feel stuck emotionally or physically. Together, we explore healing through a mind–body lens, recognizing that the nervous system seeks safety before growth. Your symptoms once protected you—now it’s time to help your body learn that safety can exist in the present.

You’re intelligent, highly sensitive, and deeply reflective—often the one others rely on. You may appear “fine,” yet feel disconnected inside, carrying anxiety, hypervigilance, burnout, or old trauma patterns that keep repeating. You want more than coping skills; you want deep nervous-system healing and lasting change. You’re ready to look inward with honesty (not defensiveness), release what isn’t you, and become fully yourself—grounded, connected, and alive in your work, relationships, and body.

Parenting Therapists
What does therapy for parenting look like?
Therapists may work with parents individually, together, or include the whole family to find solutions for the problems a parent faces. Many parent-based therapies work on a parent’s relationship with their children, problem-solving within the family, and analysis of family dynamics. Therapy conducted remotely by video may be helpful in allowing a therapist to observe how families interact in their own homes.

When should a parent seek therapy?
When behavioral problems begin to disrupt the healthy functioning of a family, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If parents find that children are acting out in school, have started using drugs or alcohol, have developed eating disorders, or other similar red flags, a therapist may be able to help.

How long does therapy take for parenting problems?
Depending on the severity of a family’s challenges and the type of treatment utilized, therapy for parenting can last from weeks to months. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a pragmatic therapy type that can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. Structural family therapy, which inspects family dynamics, often takes several months. Parent-child interaction therapy is typically shorter-term, lasting between 10 and 20 sessions. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.

Can therapy help parents dealing with burnout or stress?
Parenting is difficult. Parents may dismiss or conceal feelings of exhaustion, overwhelm, or escape ideation—imagining withdrawing from their parental obligations altogether. but left unattended, these feelings can have negative effects on the whole family. A therapist can help parents work on the skills they might need to better cope with the burdens of parenting and help them be the best parents they can be.
