Hello there. My name is Dolly Sullivan, native of Fairmont, WV. I am the Owner, Clinical Social Worker & Consultant at Intentional Wellness and Consulting, LLC. I am most passionate and most effective as a therapist & consultant with those struggling with the following life challenges: individuals ages 12 - 85, couples & families, Deaf & hard-of hearing communities, caregivers of family members, grief/loss including early fetal losses/miscarriages, healthcare providers, foster parents, those w/ traumatic histories & those struggling with addiction & their family members. I also do corporate consulting on organizational health.

Most people have a natural drive to be independent and self-sustaining. The truth is life is not always easy and it can be difficult to be vulnerable with others. When people use their courage and bravery to reach out, I have nothing but admiration for them. In the dark times of life, we need a place where we can feel understood, genuinely cared about, and supported. I believe that every person is unique, and everyone has different needs. Some times life's difficulties take more time then we would like but I am there to go through it all with you.

I strongly believe that everyone is unique and everyone’s story is unique; therefore, different approaches are essential in working with a wide variety of people. I am a true believer in the concept of “words shape beliefs” and, in that vein, saying “I do not know” or “please help” are powerful words since vulnerability often leads to growth and healing. One of my favorite quotes is by Viktor Frankl who said "When we are no longer able to change a situation - we are challenged to change ourselves."

My approach is kind, direct and compassionate. You as a client, are my number one priority. We all are different so that means we all need different things to help us grow! My focus is to meet you where you are, assess your strengths and uniqueness, then work together to find a way to utilize and integrate those into accomplishing your goals. I like to gently push my clients toward openness, vulnerability and change. It’s so important to feel heard. It IS necessary for healing, & change. I am committed to offering a safe space for you to learn more about you and meet your goals. You deserve the opportunity to explore your feelings.

I provide services to Veterans, First Responders, couples and anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, grief and adjustment to life stressors. From financial difficulties, adjustment to school, family dynamics, work and everyday events that causes disruption in ones mental health, we are able to provide intervention and coping skills to assist in making healthy changes in the clients daily routine.

At Montani Mental Health, LLC, we treat a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and stress management. Being in a college town, we are also skilled at working with the student population on their specific stressors. We use evidence-based treatments and work closely with your medical provider to provide comprehensive care. We provide services for adolescents and adults in Morgantown and surrounding areas. We are also able to do tele-therapy if approved by your insurance.

Therapy is a joint effort of two people to make significant changes in a person's life. I am coming in to session as an expert on change and you are the expert on yourself and the ideal life you want to live. Together we will work to find out what changes you would like to make in your life, and most importantly, how to get you there.

Emotional and behavioral challenges in childhood and adolescence affects the child and rest of the family unit as well. Caregivers often find themselves heartbroken while they watch their child struggle through issues they wish they could take away, and if the child is acting out behaviorally, it is common for caregivers to even feel hurt and confused. I offer therapy services for children ages 3 and up, as well as adults and families for the diagnosis and treatment of emotional, relational, and behavioral concerns, as well as offer support services and psychoeducation to their caregivers and other family members.

Now more than ever I see individuals struggling to get through their daily lives, having a hard time being themselves and finding it difficult to connect with others.
