I have been practicing 10+ years, with experience providing evidence-based counseling to children through adults, as well as individuals with infertility, addiction, and those in need of couples counseling. I provide specialized services for those who have experienced trauma in their lives. I also enjoy working with children and adolescents as well, and have many tools to assist children in expressing their feelings and learning better coping skills and behavior changes.

I see my role as helping you make the changes you want to make, by teaching and helping you explore your life. There is no one size fits all for therapy, and I work to find methods that work for you. I am trauma-informed, working on certification in Trauma Focused -CBT. Primary issues I work with are anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral Issues, coping Skills, grief, parenting, and self-esteem.

I provide psychotherapy services within a variety of effective therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. My strengths-based approach to therapy is tailored to the needs of the individual in order to identify the client's goals, reveal the underlying causes of symptoms or issues, and implement healing strategies & behavior modifications. My method aims to help the client comfortably share, improve insight to past behavior, manage stressors, and make productive choices.

Together, we can work to untangle anxious thoughts and heal your past trauma. I'm here to walk beside you and shine a flashlight in the darkness when you struggle to navigate your way to solutions. I truly enjoy helping individual adults, parents, and families reach a healthier level of functioning and satisfaction in their life using EMDR, CBT, or SFBT.

I strongly believe that everyone is unique and everyone’s story is unique; therefore, different approaches are essential in working with a wide variety of people. I am a true believer in the concept of “words shape beliefs” and, in that vein, saying “I do not know” or “please help” are powerful words since vulnerability often leads to growth and healing. One of my favorite quotes is by Viktor Frankl who said "When we are no longer able to change a situation - we are challenged to change ourselves."
