In 23 years of clinical experience, I have helped clients learn how to manage anxiety and depression due to work stress, a cancer diagnosis (and other chronic Illnesses), as well as other significant life changes. Medical illnesses are stressful, and we often need support through these difficult times. I also specialize in working with medical professionals as well as other professionals who have found themselves burned out because of their experiences during the pandemic. In the DMV, we tend to define much of inner self by our career. Learning to find balance in this part of our lives helps us to improve our sense of self.
I also specialize working with those facing chronic illness. I have a unique approach to help you more effectively understand the changes in your life as you learn to manage your "new norm". I will provide you a safe and private space to process this impact on your life and help you move forward.
