I specialize in comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations, specifically evaluations for ADHD, anxiety, autism, and learning disabilities (including dyslexia) as well as Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) that incorporate collaboration among students, their parents, and their school. Regardless of evaluation type, I work to uncover the underlying causes of learning, behavioral, and/or social-emotional challenges of individuals in early childhood, childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood to then identify individualized, evidence-based recommendations that can help them reach their fullest potential.
I also have experience in working with bright, capable students who have historically done well in school but are now struggling (often for the first time!) because of anxiousness, inattention, and/or executive functioning differences. While these students can be misunderstood and viewed as "too smart to struggle" by others, their challenges are very real.
No matter the type of evaluation, I am committed to partnering with clients, their families, and even their schools to identify the root causes of the challenges they face to then offer practical recommendations. These recommendations can be applied across the home, school, and community settings to reduce frustration and help build successful outcomes!
