My name is Shalonda. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I specialize in helping adults who have self-esteem, relationship, and life adjustment issues resulting from childhood trauma thrive fully. Life is full of surprises and transitions but you don’t have to handle them alone. My goal is to allow you to have a nonjudgmental space to focus on the issues you’re facing and be the best version of yourself. I work to help collaborate to create a plan to help address your individual needs.
I have worked with adults ranging from college age students to senior citizens in various settings such as college counseling centers, substance use facilities, and inpatient psychiatric units. This has allowed me to work with dealing with transitional stress in life, dual diagnosis and severe and persistent mental health.
It takes courage to start the therapeutic journey and it can be scary at times but I would love to have a 15 minute consultation to review some of the needs that you may have.
