Hello, my name is Jenelle Mortenson, and I work with children ages 3+ and adults. I also have a background working with children and their families. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, anger management, and emotional regulation. I believe every behavior/action has a function. My goal is to determine the function and help children and their families achieve their goals in appropriate ways. It's okay to feel emotions; it's all in how we handle our emotions.
I have experience working with individuals with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar. I offer individual and family therapy in person at my office or over telehealth. I also provide school-based therapy for Newton, IA, and Prairie City-Monroe IA.
